In honour of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, the COCO team put some time aside to talk about the things that had have made us smile recently. Taking the time to appreciate these small moments of happiness is supposedly good for both your mental and physical health- and of course, it's lovely to hear what's making other people happy!
Read on to find out what we all talked about. We'd love to hear what's made you smile this month in the comments - no matter how small!

My daughter, after a phase of being completely obsessed with my husband and crying when he leaves the room, now is obsessed with me and cries when I leave the room, which is so lovely.
The second is that my very proper academic British father who has absolutely no interest in any kind of pop culture stories whatsoever, has suddenly taken a keen interest in the Wagatha Christie trial of Coleen Rooney vs Rebekah Vardy!

Going to India with Educate for Life - the other small charity that I work for! Getting to meet the partners that Educate for Life works with, and who I've been working with virtually since Jan 2021, in person and seeing the incredible work that they're doing was amazing. The beautiful scenery and delicious food were a bonus too!

Seeing some lovely hedgehogs in my garden - I've now bought them a special little hedgehog house and hope to see a lot more of them!

This month, I was finally able to return to Chester to attend my graduation ceremony at the gorgeous cathedral. It was so nice to see people in real life again after so long, and to say a proper goodbye to the city where I spent 3 years of my life. Thank you to everyone for your kind comments on the social media posts about this.

Booking my first holiday abroad since 2019! I'm heading to Paris over the Jubilee weekend with my boyfriend and one of my best friends. The bank holiday is also coincidentally my birthday weekend (fortuitous timing!) and I can't wait for lots of croissants, wine and fun.

After 16 years of working in an office and 2 years without, being back in an office thanks to Net-Defence gives me so much joy! Working from home has its benefits, I can get the laundry in if it rains, avoid trips to the post office for missed deliveries and make my lunch in my own kitchen! But there’s nothing like a proper work environment to help me focus and feel like a professional :)
